Chunky brass dragonscale bracelet made by Mike. After getting out tumbler working to our satisfaction, this bracelet turned out super-duper shiny. (Yay!) This bracelet has such a nice weight to it...

Thanks for the compliment! About your rings: Huzzah! Can't wait to see what yours will look like! Have you done it before? Are you going with silver or different colors? Just keep in mind that it is much slower than a lot of other weaves so patience is a virtue. Keep with it; it'll look great when you're done! :) Also, what tutorial are you using? A couple of them do things in an order that makes it significantly more of a pain than it should be...

I know! It's just a matter of being un-lazy. :P But it's money!! So I should get my butt making this bracelet. :>
I'm using stainless steel and anodized aluminum (SS only for the large size, AA in the small ring sizes, with SS speckled in there too).
I think it'll probably be about as slow as my Japanese 12 in 2 cuff... I feel like because I made that, I can make anything. D: Lmao :P
The tutorial I'm using is cgmaille's. If you have an easier one, please linky!! ^__^

Well, I started off using the CGMaille one and found it did it in an order that made things a LOT more of a pain than it should. I can explain a better order using that tutorial; it's a simple fix. Start the bracelet like they tell you to. After you finish step 4, stop. They want you to add the large rings then. Don't! Add the next row of small rings first! After you do that, add the large ones over the top. Then small, then large. Basically, you stay one step ahead of the tutorial. This makes a huge difference because instead of threading the small rings in between a large ring you have a TON of room to work with. Hope you understand what I mean and that works for you!

Oh wow! That DOES make sense. The hardest part of their tutorial was messing around with threading the tiny rings through!

You know what! I ordered the rings for the Dragonscale, and they came in - I got 20G 5/32" and 18G 7/32"... I opened the 7/32" rings and there are two different sizes in there. I'm SO MAD. More than half the rings that are -supposed- to be 7/32" don't fit around the 5/32". I don't know what they are but I'm taking a photo of the two rings together and emailing my supplier. GRRRRR Now I have to wait even LONGER to make this bracelet (and get the monies from it). >:[
